ABOUT us 

 

Tembure is a Village in Guruve, Zimbabwe. It comprises of about 38 households. With high levels of living standards, the village through its committees is looking at ways to improve community lives. This village development was initiated by the founder of the charity, Simeon Tembure who collaborated with a number of family members who are now residing in different parts of the country and the world. Simeon is very much motivated and aspired by environment activists like  Allan Savory and many other.

 

The plan is to introduce projects that are less capital demanding but with a high turnover in terms of health and livelihood benefits to our community. Tree planting project is one example which is already in execution.

 

Numerous projects have been identified and different committees have been set to drive these projects. All projects are fully supported by the local leadership.

Tembure Village Development is working to ensure families use the locally available resources to better their lives and of generations to come. We have experienced partners in health, agriculture and engineering , just to mention a few.  All projects have been fully accepted by the society and most members have the zeal to drive the projects for a better feature.
