Tembure is a thriving village in Guruve, Zimbabwe, home to about 38 households united by a shared vision for a better future. With strong community values and a commitment to sustainable growth, Tembure is setting an example of how rural communities can thrive through collaboration, innovation, and care for the environment.

Tembure Village Development was founded by Simeon Tembure, inspired by environmental leaders like Allan Savory. With the support of family members living across Zimbabwe and around the world, Simeon’s vision is to create a model village that prioritizes health, sustainability, and self-reliance.

We aim to:

• Empower families to use locally available resources to improve their lives.

• Launch low-cost, high-impact projects that strengthen health, livelihoods, and the environment.

• Build a strong, united community that inspires future generations.

• Tree Planting Project – Already underway, promoting environmental conservation and food security.

• Health, Agriculture, and Engineering Partnerships – Leveraging expert guidance to create practical solutions for village needs.

• Future Projects – Focused on sustainable farming, clean energy, and community resilience.
